On Saturday, May 31, 2025, a sports tournament was held at Teikyo University Fukuoka Campus Arena. This event is planned and managed by Fukuoka Campus Alumni Association Management Department, and is held every year to promote interaction and deepen connections across grade, department, and course boundaries through sports. The event also aims to strengthen unity among students by working up a sweat with peers who study hard every day, and to enrich student life.
On the day of the tournament, volleyball was played, with 13 teams and approximately 90 students from 1st to 4th year participating. When the matches began, each team played with all their might, and there were many moments when cheers erupted for each and every rally. A warm and energetic atmosphere filled the entire venue from start to finish, with students jumping for joy every time a point was scored, smiling and encouraging each other even when they made a mistake, and cheers ringing out from the cheering section. Not only students with experience in volleyball but also students who are not usually familiar with sports actively participated, making it a tournament that everyone could enjoy.
During the breaks in the tournament, teams who had finished their matches could be seen naturally interacting with each other, and students who had come to cheer on the other teams enthusiastically applauded their plays. After the tournament ended, the students who remained until the end were seen taking photos together and talking about how they would definitely like to participate again next year.
Through the competition, the entire team worked together toward a common goal, providing a great opportunity to improve the communication skills and teamwork necessary for success in the medical field in the future.
