Fukuoka CampusPresents Donation to Myanmar and Thailand Earthquake Victims

On Monday, June 9, 2025, a donation ceremony to support the areas affected by the Myanmar-Thailand earthquake was held at Omuta City Hall. A total of seven people participated, including three students and four faculty and staff members from the Teikyo University Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology student circles, the International Exchange Club and the Teikyo University Fukuoka Rotaract Club.
At the presentation ceremony, Teikyo University Fukuoka Rotaract Club representative Akito Ueno (2nd year student Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology) explained the background and purpose of the fundraising campaign, and then presented the relief funds to Yoshitaka Seki, Mayor of Omuta City and head of the Omuta City District of the Japanese Red Cross Society Fukuoka Prefecture Branch. Mayor Seki expressed his gratitude and said, "I hope that you will continue to grow through international exchange activities and community contribution activities."
The donations raised through this fundraising campaign will be used by the Japanese Red Cross Society to help with relief efforts for victims and to support the recovery of the affected areas.

Teikyo University Fukuoka Campus will continue to actively support students' independent social contribution activities and work to foster Community Engagement.
